Schillings Gasthof in Schaprode

Food was almost OK, unfortunately some pieces of potato were a little burnt. You could only pay individually at the counter - a bit strange for a restaurant with somewhat high prices. At our mealtime, however, the restaurant was very busy, this has to be taken for granted.

I've been here 3 times now, each time the food and service was great. Down-to-earth cuisine, cooked with sense and very good ingredients that are used. Next to the Kapitänsklause my favorite restaurant on Rügen.

Two years ago we had an excellent meal here, lamb salmon and the steak. Both in high quality and appropriate for the price. Not so this year, twice steak and twice tough and stringy. I like to pay the 29 euros each but not for such a poor quality.

We were here on October 12th, 2020 - an extra star for the service staff. The place was full, but was served well and attentively in a really reasonable time. The food (cod fillet) was very good. This is how you wish to "go out to eat"

It was really delicious. The prices are completely okay, here you can really say that quality has its price. Nice atmosphere, nice staff, we will definitely go there again next year.

The restaurant was always great, currently with new staff, which is friendly, but you still have the feeling of being "pulled away". Our son, 8 years old, ordered pasta himself, instead of € 6.50 we were charged € 14.50. When asked politely, there was a short answer that we had not specifically ordered a children's portion. Can be done. Is not nice, so watch out for everyone else!

The house was recommended to us. We were not disappointed. The finest organic meat, excellently prepared. Great card that makes it really hard to choose. Attentive, professional service. Prices for the quality of the food appropriate, almost cheap. The perfumed tomatoes knocked me off the stool. Nobody needs nice to have and delicious!

Two days ago we were only for a drink in the beer garden. The often quoted friendly waitress was probably off. The current mask requirement was ignored by the entire service, in that everyone had their noses free, "because otherwise you can't breathe", as I was grumbled on when I was told. The 2 stars are there for nice sitting outside.

Very good restaurant right on the harbor. Fish soup as a starter was delicious. Burger with great meat and delicious sauces. Since someone asked about the prices: For 2 people starters, main courses and drinks under 40 € are not too expensive due to the quality.

Never before had Schnuckenfleisch eaten so good. Sooooo delicious. We stopped here on two evenings in a row and haven't regretted it. It is of course expensive, but anyone who wants to protect animals eats what is kept ecologically on the private island of Öhe. That costs a little more. And, let's be honest, even if the waitress bustles like crazy here, it's still a coordinated bustle. rarely experienced such a structured chaos (we mean that positively) - with this mass of customers.

I highly recommend this place. Great, tasty dishes, of very good quality and freshness. From the telephone reservation to the dessert, nothing to complain about. We have been here several times and will definitely come again. I happily accept the 100km journey from my vacation home to eat here and shop in the farm shop. Dear Mr. Schilling, please keep it up, the region needs people with your entrepreneurial spirit and your employees who give their best every day.

My daughter wanted fries to go. We found it with you. They tasted so delicious that we ordered 2 servings. The world's best fries are available here, at least we have rarely eaten such delicious 🍟. The perfect snack before and after the ferry crossing to Hiddensee. The currywurst from Öhe beef tasted delicious too. Very friendly and helpful service. Great terrace with a great view.

Very tasty dishes with meat from our own production from the island of Öhe right across the street. Everything is fresh and tasty, cooked to the point. Friendly service and a comfortable, well-kept stay. Terrace with sunset view towards Hiddensee. Reservations recommended. The air-dried salami from the farm shop is also very tasty

A really very good kitchen. The fish was excellent. The service is quick and attentive. The ambience is great. A stylishly furnished guest room and a great patio with a view of the harbor. We recommend.

The concept didn't quite open up to me! Coffee is ordered at the inn. Cake is then bought in the shop next to it. So you go on a hike after ordering coffee and then the table is occupied. As I said, strange concept and I don't have to understand everything!

The interior looks a little bit wasted. The service during our visit was not really competent. The sanitary facilities could scare you. After the many reports on the NDR, I expected a touch of professionalism. Maybe it will work next time.

Good cuisine, very tasty food, the menu offers delicious freshly caught fish, steaks from home-grown cattle and salads. The potato wedges and homemade fries are unique. The burgers are fresh with super tasty beef. Very nice atmosphere right on the harbor, with tables under an old tree population. The service is very friendly, professional, attentive and quick. The prices are fair, for what is on offer rather cheap. We'll be back😀❗

Always worth a visit. From the snack bar to the shop to the restaurant including staff even after multiple visits 5 out of 5 stars and rightly so! The quality is really perfect and the ambience is more than inviting! Whoever visits Rügen should have been here! We look forward to the next time ♡

Very nice service and the best herring fillet I've eaten so far. The strong, malty Störtebeker black beer goes perfectly with it. Make a reservation in advance - it is quite full because of the ferry passengers. Still, drinks and food came in a timely manner. As the restaurant is only a few steps away from the harbor, it is the perfect end to a day trip to Hiddensee.

Great flavours, great service!

It was very tasty, but you have to say that we stood there for 5 minutes and were ignored, although there were still enough places available. We were also clearly seen from the waitress, it would be nicer if you had a waitress who was at first familiar with the job. Now and then she didn't even understand us. But in terms of food, it was really good.

Great locally sourced food and a variety of craft beers on the menu. Nice interior decoration. Cozy place.
